Students Learn How Muskogee Police Train K9 Officers

Two middle school boys from Muskogee now know what goes into training the Muskogee Police Department's K9 units.

The boys watched officers train their four-legged partners to do different kinds of searches.

They even got to watch a demonstration at the Muskogee fairgrounds of how dogs take down a bad guy.

Police said it's all part of their effort to build stronger bonds with young people in the community.
