Mounds Parents Wanted For Felony Child Abuse Surrender

Authorities in Creek County say a couple wanted for child abuse and neglect has surrendered. Authorities issued an alert seeking tips on their whereabouts after finding a malnourished infant in cardiac arrest.

Mounds police said Cody Haynes, 25, and Amanda Haynes, 23, were arrested on Saturday for felony child abuse by injury and four counts of child neglect.

Creek County Sheriff's Office reports the couple's 4-month-old infant went into cardiac arrest on April 10, 2015. The baby was extremely malnourished and was taken to the hospital.

Police say the child is now in good condition.
