Wrong-Way Driver Injures Tulsa Woman

A driver was taken to a hospital after a wrong-way driver slammed into their car on 11th Street near Mingo.

A woman was taken to a hospital after being hit by a wrong-way driver overnight. Tulsa Police say a man was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of 11th street near Mingo.

They say his car smashed head-on into another car. After that - officers say he ran from the scene.

Police say the driver of the other car suffered a broken leg in the crash. The injured woman was comforted by her friends as she awaited emergency care.
