Car Hits Jenks School Bus; Minor Injuries

Tulsa Police say a student bumped her head when a car struck a Jenks school bus on Harvard near 83rd Street Wednesday morning. 

Officers had to close the southbound lanes of Harvard at about 7:30 a.m. because of the collision.

The southbound school bus didn't appear to sustain any damage, but the car suffered a broken right headlight and dented fender.

Police said the driver of the westbound car said she slid on the wet roadway when she attempted to stop at the intersection, striking the bus.
