Former Tulsa Public School Teacher Pleads Guilty To Lewd Molestation Charges

A former Tulsa Public School elementary teacher charged with molesting a student pleaded guilty Monday.

Brian Drabek, 42, pled no contest in blind plea at his pre-trial hearing. He was charged in May 2014 with four counts of lewd molestation and one count of lewd proposal to a child.

Drabek taught sixth grade math and science at Thoreau Demonstration Academy.

He was arrested April 24, 2014 after a police investigation found inappropriate text messages were sent to a 12-year-old female student. Tulsa Police believe Brian Drabek also touched the girl inappropriately at school and at his home.

Court records show he will be sentenced on May 20.
