Oklahoma National Guard Co-Sponsors McAlester Job Fair

The Oklahoma National Guard's Employment Coordination Program is co-sponsoring an Oklahoma Military Connection `hiring event' at the McAlester Armed Forces Reserve Center Thursday.

The National Guard says more than 40 civilian employers will be at the center with jobs to fill.

The event will be from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the reserve center located near the entrance to the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant on Tree Road.

From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the event will be open to military veterans, transitioning service members, National Guardsmen and Reserve members. The general public will be admitted from 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
