Claremore Church Clears Storm Damaged Trees From West Tulsa Neighborhood

Encouraging signs of progress, less than a week after strong winds tore through a west Tulsa neighborhood uprooting trees and damaging homes and businesses. 

News On 6 photojournalist Ty Lewis found some members of the 1st Baptist Church in Claremore who stepped up to help cleanup in one Tulsa neighborhood Monday.

The group says they've traveled across the U.S. cleaning up after natural disasters and it was important they showed the same urgency in cleaning up for the neighbors in Oklahoma.
