A home was destroyed by fire early Friday morning in Owasso. The house was already collapsing when firefighters arrived on scene near 96th Street North and 161st East Avenue.

It happened around 3 a.m. in a home that was thought to be unoccupied, according to Owasso Fire Department.

Owasso firefighters say neighbors reported that someone had been living there even though there was no electricity hooked up to the house. Authorities say that man was not in the home when it burned but was staying in another structure nearby.

There were no injuries.

The Owasso Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire. OFD did not have an estimated financial loss.

Limestone Fire Department assisted with water supply.
