TU's women's basketball coach Matilda Mossman invited the opposing team to share a charter flight for Monday's night basketball game in Cincinnati.

The University of Cincinnati was scheduled to fly home after Saturday after defeating SMU in Dallas, but snow and ice canceled the team's flight back to Ohio.

The TU women's basketball team also played Saturday, beating Tulane in Tulsa. Tulsa was set to take a charter flight to Cincinnati on Sunday.

When Mossman heard that the Bearcats were having trouble getting home, she invited the team to join her team for the flight from Tulsa to Cincinnati. She said it was the right thing to do.

The Bearcats made the four-hour trek from Dallas to Tulsa by bus and on Sunday both teams boarded the jet and headed to Cincinnati.

Cincinnati coach Jamelle Elliott says she is grateful to TU for helping them out.

The two squads will face off Monday evening at the Fifth Third Arena at the University of Cincinnati.
