A passerby called Catoosa Police overnight Sunday to report a truck overturned in a creek. The truck was discovered at about 2:30 a.m. in the 19800 block of East Admiral Place.

Authorities say the truck was empty when they arrived. They searched for a victim but didn't find anyone.

The driver apparently was eastbound on Admiral from 193rd East Avenue when the truck slid off the roadway to the right and flipped upside down, landing in a small creek bed.

Officers initially thought there was blood inside the cab of the truck, but it turned out to be transmission fluid.

In addition to Catoosa police, Catoosa Fire Department, the Rogers County Sheriff's Office and the Rolling Hills Fire Department responded to the wreck.
