ORU Gets Stomped 81-52 By SDSU

George Marshall made 5 of 9 from 3-point range and scored 17 points and Cody Larson added 15 to lead South Dakota State to an 81-52 Summit League victory over Oral Roberts on Saturday night.

South Dakota State (21-8, 12-3) finished its home schedule with a 13-0 record. The Jackrabbits have 17 consecutive home victories dating to last season.

SDSU is tied with North Dakota State for first in the Summit League.

Deondre Parks had 13 points for the Jackrabbits, who have won 12 of their last 13 games.

SDSU blew out to an early lead, was up 45-22 at the break and pushed that to a 66-37 advantage midway of the second half.

The Jackrabbits made 29 of 57 from the field while limiting ORU to 20-of-50 shooting. SDSU also won the rebounding battle 43-27.

Albert Owens was the only player in double figures (18) for ORU (15-13, 8-6).
