The City of Tulsa says its street crews have been busy plowing Tulsa's arterial streets and applying salt since Sunday evening.
Officials say all streets and roads are passable, but remain slushy and slick. The city's fleet of sand/salt spreaders and plows were mobilized at 7 p.m. Sunday and worked overnight treating and plowing streets and roads.
Officials say their trucks are assigned to 35 specific routes , totaling 1,768 lane-miles.
The city also says bulky waste pickup will not be collected Monday as those drivers are helping with plowing the city's arterial streets.
Officials say refuse service is scheduled for most of south Tulsa Monday. They say trucks are trying to navigate neighborhood streets, but we ask customers to remain patient with collection service as most roads on Monday's routes are steep.
