A man was taken to the hospital after a rollover wreck early Sunday morning. Tulsa Police say the single-vehicle wreck took place near 7th and South Garnett about 3:45 a.m.
The driver was northbound on Garnett when his 1994 Acura Integra went left across southbound lanes and hit a concrete drainage pipe. The car flipped over on its roof, blocking the southbound lanes.
Police were called to the scene after a passerby noticed the wreck, News On 6 was told.
Police say the driver smelled of alcohol and was belligerent towards first responders trying to help him. He reportedly told officers someone else was driving, but they found no evidence to support the claim.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
