ATF Names Person Of Interest In Sapulpa Motel Fire; Victim Identified

The Sapulpa Police Department says the victim of the fatal Interstate Inn fire has been identified and a person of interest has been named.

The Sapulpa Police Department says the victim of the fatal Interstate Inn fire has been identified and a person of interest has been named.

Bixby man Terry Jean Lamb, 57, was identified by the state medical examiner, SPD says.

Nineteen people also were displaced in the fire, which engulfed a two-story section of the motel on Saturday about 8 a.m.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is investigating the cause of the fire. It is requesting assistance in locating Daniel Gene Crew, 35, who is now a person of interest in the case.

According to the ATF, Crew was inside the room where the fire originated.
