City of Tulsa water crews are working to repair a 12-inch break that's caused heavy flooding near 41st and Mingo.
The city said police and fire are on site to help with traffic control as the water has made it difficult for vehicles to travel.
Michelle Allen with the city of Tulsa said the line is expected to be fixed within eight to ten hours. She said no residents or businesses are with out water.
Allen also said 41st Street and Mingo is now open to traffic.
According to reports around 2:00 Saturday morning a Tulsa Police officer requested emergency water crews near 41st and Mingo for a broken water line.
Crews eventually completely shut down Mingo from 41st to at least 39th.
News On 6 video shows an area just west of Mingo that was open despite flooding. Several cars struggled to make it through the deep water; some were forced to stop and turn around.
