Defending Chili Bowl champion Bryan Clauson is hosting a charity event "Racers for Autism" Monday night at the Cain's Ballroom.

Clauson - who ended the Swindell Chili Bowl winning streak in 2014 - said he's inspired by a friend and racing fan to raise money for the Autism Society.

"We hope to make it an annual event," he said at Monday's Chili Bowl news conference.

The ticket price of $50 includes a BBQ dinner, beer and entertainment by Johnny Lee and the Urban Cowboy Band. There will also be a silent auction of racing memorabilia.
