Wreckers cleared away a jack-knifed semi on I-44 near the Hard Rock Casino in Catoosa Thursday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the westbound semi went off the highway, straddling the center median just west of the 193rd East Avenue exit. The wreck slowed both east and westbound traffic while crews worked to remove the semi.

Trooper Russell Stripling said the driver of the semi and a passenger were not injured. He said the truck's trailer punched a hole in the cab close to where the passenger was sleeping.

The OHP says the road was wet and the driver was going too fast for conditions.
