Owasso Mother Pleads Guilty To Embezzling From PTA

An Owasso mother has entered a guilty plea to embezzling thousands of dollars from a Parent-Teacher Association.

Christy Bratton plead guilty to one count of embezzlement. In August, Owasso detectives said Bratton had stolen more than $4,000 from the Mills Action Club while serving as the group's treasurer.

That money was supposed to provide supplies for Mills Elementary School.
