The Tulsa men's basketball team returns home to play host to Creighton at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
This is Tulsa's first home game since Nov. 19, after three games away. TU is 2-0 at the Reynolds Center this season, and will look to rebound from a pair of setbacks against Oklahoma State and at Wichita State.

The Series
This is the 79th meeting between Tulsa and Creighton. Tulsa leads the series, 43-35. Creighton has won each of the last four meetings, including a 82-72 victory in Omaha in 2013. This is Creighton's first visit to Tulsa since 2011. The Bluejays won the last meeting in Tulsa, 83-64, in 2011. The Golden Hurricane won 12 of 13 games in the series between 1990 and 2000. The first meeting came on January 8, 1934 in Tulsa's first-ever Missouri Valley contest, as the Bluejays won 38-11 at the Tulsa Coliseum. The two teams met again later that season in Omaha with the Bluejays grabbing a 39-21 victory. Creighton started out the series 4-0 before Tulsa's first win came on January 18, 1937 in Tulsa by a score of 42-39. The last game as MVC members came on Jan. 24, 1996 as Tulsa claimed a 55-52 home victory. The Hurricane won 11 of the final 12 games between the teams in the MVC.

Teddy Bear Toss - Dec. 13
For the second straight year, the Golden Hurricane will hold a Teddy Bear Toss donation for the St. Francis Children's Hospital. All fans are encouraged to bring an unused Teddy Bear to the TU-OU basketball game on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. At halftime, fans will be asked to “toss” their Teddy Bear onto the Reynolds Center court. Each bear will be donated to the St. Francis Children's Hospital . . . all stuffed bears are welcome – big or small!
