Feds Charge 11 Members Of Universal Aryan Brotherhood Gang In Oklahoma

The U.S. Department of Justice in Tulsa says federal charges were filed Thursday against 11 alleged gang members of the Universal Aryan Brotherhood.

In a news release, U.S. Attorney Danny Williams says the 11 were charged for their alleged roles in conspiring to participate in a racketeering enterprise, drug conspiracy, kidnapping, and maiming a person.

An indictment naming the 11 defendants was returned by a federal grand jury on November 5, 2014 and unsealed on November 10, 2014.

Those charged include Anthony Ramon Hall, 39; Ronnie Dean Haskins, 41; Aaron Clay King, 31; Matthew Brian Wagner, 32; Richard Allen Roberts, 30; Robert Allen Paul Bryan, 40; Rodney Lee Broomhall, 37; William Benton Williams, 41; Kristin Michelle Bright, 31; Carl Matthew Smith, 36; and Timothy Duane Buck, 23. All are from Oklahoma.

The release states the Universal Aryan Brotherhood is described as a “white only” prison-based gang whose members operate within and without the state prison system. The gang was established in 1993 within Oklahoma Department of Corrections penitentiaries and is said to be modeled after the Aryan Brotherhood, a California-based gang.

Danny Williams says the charges stem from an investigation involving the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, IRS, Tulsa Police, Tulsa County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
