Oklahomans Donate To Help Fight Ebola In Liberia

Oklahomans are helping to fight Ebola in West Africa by donating to a drive collecting items like bleach, hand sanitizer and gloves.

Oklahomans are making a difference in the fight against Ebola in Liberia.

Sam Dgardu lives in Tulsa, but is originally from Liberia.

This month, he organized a drive to collect items like bleach, hand sanitizer and gloves, to help prevent the spread of Ebola in West Africa.

Dgardu said he's received so many donations that it will cost $7,000 to ship it all overseas.

They're about $3,500 short.
