The Oklahoma Army National Guard made a special exception as a way to thank our nation's veterans.
The Guard hosted an open house at the Tulsa base on 46th Street North -- and for the only time during the year -- allowed the public on the grounds.Black Hawk helicopters were on display, and even the little ones got an inside look.
Osage SkyNews 6 HD made an appearance, including our pilot Will Kavanaugh, who is a 28-year veteran of the U.S. Army.
The event was sponsored by the Thunderbird Army Aviation Association of America.
