A Rogers County judge sentenced a Claremore man who pled guilty to causing a deadly crash.

A Rogers County judge sentenced a Claremore man who pled guilty to causing a deadly crash.

The judge handed down a ten-year sentence to Russell Reed, then, suspended all but 10-months of the sentence.

Reed has already spent about nine months behind bars.

Reed was driving without a valid license in August 2013, when he pulled in front of a motorcycle on Highway 169, just south of Oologah.

The rider, Michael Smith, died in the crash.
