Sand Springs Christmas Parade Of Homes Set For This Weekend

Sand Springs will have its 36th Annual Christmas Parade of Homes this weekend, November 15 and 16, sponsored by the Pilot Club. Tour some of the city's most beautiful homes decorated in holiday finery by the folks at Coble's Flowers.

Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 in advance. Advance tickets can be purchased from any Pilot Club member; at Coble's Flowers, 514 Plaza Ct., or Chere's Hallmark, 3933 South Highway 97.

The Parade of Homes tours run from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at three elaborately decorated homes: 1125 North Main; 5615 North Highway 97, and 10606 Pond Creek Drive.

The decorations will be available for sale at 10 percent off regular price. It's all for a good cause - benefiting projects Pilot Club projects in the Sand Springs community including Sandite Child Development, Reading Buddies and scholarships to graduating seniors at Charles Page High School.

The group also supports the Alzheimer's Association, helmet education, Sertoma and Girls State.

"Our main goal is brain-related disorders and development," said member Lisa Echohawk-Doss.
