1 red velvet cake mix, prepared according to package
1 box Braum's Cake Cones
½ cup solid vegetable shortening
½ cup Braum's unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons Braum's half and half
Green food coloring
Sprinkles and round candies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover a mini muffin tin with heavy duty foil. Cut slits in the foil over the cups. Then push the cones through the foil slits. Fill each cone ½ full with cake mix. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow the cakes to cool. While cakes are baking, make the frosting. In a large bowl, beat together the butter and vegetable shortening for 1 minute. Add the powdered sugar ¼ cup at a time, alternating with the tablespoons of half and half and vanilla. Continue beating until frosting is stiff yet smooth. Add drops of green until you get the desired color. Place the frosting into a piping bag and swirl onto the top of the cake cones. Decorate with sprinkles and round candies.
