Two U.S. Senate seats will be on the ballot, and the Democratic candidates are considered underdogs in both races. Republican Jim Inhofe is running for re-election against Democrat Matt Silverstein.
Senator Tom Coburn's unexpired seat is sought by Republican James Lankford and Democrat Connie Johnson.
In Oklahoma's U.S. House delegation, Republicans also have a good chance to stay in control. Representative Markwayne Mullin is favored in eastern Oklahoma. Tulsa-area GOP candidate Jim Bridenstine is unopposed.
Governor Mary Fallin is also considered to have the lead in the race against Democratic challenger Joe Dorman.
