A man accused of trying to kill his ex-wife, will stand trial for assault with a deadly weapon and leaving the scene of an injury accident.

The judge ruled Monday there's enough evidence to make George Thomas stand trial for ramming his truck repeatedly into his ex-wife's car, while she was in it.

The judge is still hearing evidence on the 13 other charges.

News On 6 first told you about this case last summer when the victim and sheriff's office were frustrated nothing was being done, even after Thomas was arrested several times.
