Water Line Break Closes Part Of Tulsa's Cherry Street

Crews are shutting down a section of Tulsa's Cherry Street to fix a water line.

A contractor cut the six-inch line while digging along 15th Street between Peoria and Quincy.

The city said it waited until Wednesday afternoon to make the repair because they had to shut off water to one school and six businesses.

The eastbound lane will be closed all night, but should be open before Thursday's morning rush.
