City Of Tulsa Free Landfill Days This Weekend

The City of Tulsa says this Saturday and Sunday will be Free Landfill Days for city residents.

The Quarry Landfill on East 46th Street North will be free October 25 and 26. The landfill at 13740 East 46th Street North is about 1-1/2 miles east of Highway 169.

Free Landfill Days is sponsored by the City of Tulsa and Tulsa Authority for Recovery of Energy (TARE).

Residents must show a City of Tulsa utility bill or a driver's license with an address within the Tulsa city limits in order to be admitted to the landfill.

On Free Landfill Days, Tulsa utility customers can dispose of unwanted items at the landfill.

The landfill will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
