Police arrested a 20-year-old Tulsa woman in connection with a fatal crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle in May.

A police report said the crash happened in the 4700 block of South Harvard at 11:30 p.m. on May 16, 2014.

According to court records, Summer Knight was heading north in a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer when she turned left in front of a southbound motorcycle driven by David Wheeler. Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prosecutors filed misdemeanor charges of negligent homicide and failure to yield against Knight on October 16, 2014. Police arrested her on October 21, 2014.

Tulsa Police told News On 6 at the scene of the crash they didn't think the SUV driver saw the motorcycle in the rain and that Wheeler lost control and couldn't stop in time.
