Police: Suspect In East Tulsa Homicide Arrested In Nevada Casino

Tulsa police say a suspect involved in an east Tulsa homicide earlier this month has been arrested in a Nevada casino.

Police said they received information around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon that Erik Williams had been arrested in West Wendover, Nevada.

Officer said they don't have complete details, but that he was arrested without incident.

Tulsa police have been searching for Williams since he was identified as a suspect in the October 8th murder of Christian Shockley at the Colonial Park Apartments.

Reports say Williams drove to the complex in a 2003 Tacoma pickup truck.

Witnesses said Williams got out of the truck and shot Shockley then drove away.

Sergeant Dave Walker with the Tulsa Police said the 37-year-old Williams had been in a relationship with the 24-year-old Shockley that had recently ended.
