Police Cancel Silver Alert For Missing Tulsa Woman

Tulsa police have canceled a Silver Alert for a 69-year-old woman after she was found safe late Friday morning.

Police said Barbara Lewis had been in contact with her family at about 9 p.m. on Thursday. She was supposed to pickup a family member from Central High School at 10 p.m. By 11 p.m., the family told police she had not yet arrived.

Officers checked Barbara Lewis' home in the 1900 block of West Latimer Street. Police said no one was at home and her maroon-colored 2014 Nissan Sentra was gone.

Police said Lewis returned home late Friday morning.
