Water Line Break Impacts Traffic On Tulsa's Memorial Drive

The City of Tulsa water department has closed the southbound lanes in the 3200 block of South Memorial Thursday morning so they can repair a water line break. 

The break of the 12-inch line under the street was reported just before 4 a.m.  Northbound traffic is not affected by the repair work.  Drivers headed south will need to find an alternative route. 

No word yet on how long the repairs will take.

Another water main break on Wednesday has been fixed but Sheridan is still closed because a trench workers dug to repair a six-inch water line has not been paved over.  No word on when Sheridan will be re-opened to traffic.
