Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of a midtown gas station. The BN Mart convenience store at 33rd and South Yale Avenue was robbed shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday.

Police say a man carrying a black handgun demanded cash from the clerk. The robber then ran west into the Executive Apartments nearby. Attempts to track him with a K-9 officer were unsuccessful.

The robber is described as white man in his 20s with freckles, a red goatee and a mustache. He is about 6'1" with a thin build. He was wearing white shorts and a camo-colored ski mask.

Officers say the store name is being changed to Stop and Save, but the signage still reads BN.

If you know anything about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
