8 cups of salad greens, torn into bite-sized pieces (iceberg and spinach)

3 cups coleslaw mix

1 ½ cups celery, sliced

½ yellow pepper, diced

½ orange pepper, diced

2-3 tomatoes, diced

1 package fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 cup frozen peas, thawed

2 cups mayonnaise

2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 Tablespoon white granulated sugar

2 cups Braum's shredded cheddar cheese

6-8 slices Braum's bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

In a large bowl, layer the salad greens, coleslaw mix, celery, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and frozen peas.

Mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice and sugar. Spread on top of salad, creating a ‘seal' over the top. Cover and refrigerate salad for at least 8 hours, then just before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheese and crumbled bacon on top of the dressing. Toss to serve.

TAILGATING TIP: Use a large storage container with a lid to bring this salad to tailgating parties. The cheese and bacon can be added just before serving.
