Muskogee County officials say the body found in a burned-out car near Muskogee in September has been identified as that of a Tulsa man.

Sheriff's Investigator Bert Poole told The Muskogee Phoenix that the body is that of 34-year-old heat and air contractor Demarco Lamar Wilson of Tulsa. Poole says the state medical examiner's office used dental records to identify the badly burned remains.

Wilson's body was found in September by firefighters called to extinguish a car fire. The cause of death and the cause of the car fire have not been determined.

Poole says there are no suspects in connection with the death and that it isn't known why Wilson was in Muskogee.

Services for Wilson were held Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church in Tulsa.
