Some high school students from several communities held a special sporting event in Porum.

A high school senior realized how much some students with special needs would like to be part of team sports; and Friday they all became champions.

Porum Senior Carly Anderson has a friend who is autistic and knew how much he wanted to be to be a part of a team sport, so she organized a team sports day for high school student with special needs.

Students from Quinton, Stigler, Webbers Falls, and Warner participated in basketball, kickball and indoor hockey.

Each person was given a t-shirt and prize, Conners State even sent over their mascot to cheer for the teams.
