Police Investigate After Two Men Found Stabbed In Tulsa's Brady District

Three people were injured - two stabbed - in Tulsa's Brady District Friday morning, according to police.

Officers were called to the 600 block of North Main just before 2 a.m. When they arrived, police found a 50-year-old man outside who had been stabbed. A spokesperson for the Salvation Army said the man had been stabbed elsewhere and went to the Salvation Army to get help.

Tulsa Police Corporal Tami Manz said shortly after that, officers were called to two more victims near the Fairfield Inn in the 100 block of North Main, just blocks from Guthrie Green.

At that scene, she said, officers found a 56-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both believed to be suffering from stab wounds. EMSA took all three to local hospitals.

Officer Leland Harris said after the 33-year-old man was taken to the hospital, they learned he just had some minor abrasions and had not been stabbed.

Cpl. Manz says they are now trying to piece together what happened but believe one of the victims could be responsible.

"It appears that one of the victims is the suspect; we are still trying to determine the sequence of events that occurred in reference to that," said Tulsa Police Cpl. Tami Manz.

Police say one of the men is in critical condition, and the two others just suffered minor injuries. They say all three men appear to be homeless and alcohol may have been involved.

Ashley said the youngest man was suspected in the incident but none of the men were being very cooperative with police. No arrests have been made as yet, he said.
