The Tulsa Police Department is searching for a man, accused of robbing a check-cashing business in West Tulsa, late Saturday morning.

It happened around 11:26 a.m. Saturday at Everyone's Cash, 1423 W. 51st Street, according to Captain Cathy Reynolds with the Tulsa Police Department.

Captain Reynolds says the store clerk told police the robber claimed to have an explosive device and described it as looking like a piece of clay with wires coming out of it.

Police say the man fled the business on foot with the device and an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

The man is described as a dark-skinned white or bi-racial male in his late 20s or early 30s, standing about five and one half feet, wearing a blue shirt, black pants and a type of gauze or bandage over his face.

Police say the man matches the description of a suspect in another recent robbery.
