Tulsa Police Look For Answers In Two Late-Night Shootings

The first happened in west Tulsa near 24th Street and Jackson, and the second took place a little over an hour later near 46th Street North and Frankfort Avenue.

Tulsa police are looking for two gunmen after two separate shootings late Tuesday.

The first happened in west Tulsa near 24th Street and Jackson, and the second took place a little over an hour later near 46th Street North and Frankfort Avenue.

Police said about 25 people were outside at the Western Pines Apartments having a party at the same time the first shooting occurred.

However, investigators said that no one reported seeing or hearing anything.

While police were responding to the call, a 24-year-old man showed up to St. John Medical Center with four gunshot wounds. His condition is unknown at this time.

They say right now there is no suspect.

Shortly before midnight, police got another call about another shooting near 46th Street North and Frankfort. When they arrived, they found a 49-year-old man in a field.

He was alert and told police he had been shot in the back by a group of males while walking by a nearby apartment complex.

He was transported to the hospital and police began looking for a suspect.
