Undercover Operation Leads Owasso Police To Online Predator

An undercover operation led Owasso police to a man suspected of sexual solicitation of a juvenile.

Tuesday, members of the Owasso Criminal Investigations Division arrested Danny Bruce George, of Clinton, for solicitation of a minor for prostitution, sexual battery and lewd acts or proposals to a child.

According to Deputy Chief, Jason Woodruff, in July of 2014 an Owasso detective posed as a juvenile female and began talking with George and the two eventually agreed to meet.

Woodruff said around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon, George, 61, arrived at an Owasso restaurant where he was taken into custody without incident.

George is being held at the Owasso Municipal Jail pending transport to Tulsa County.
