Rogers County Couple Arrested After Death Of Infant Son

Rogers County deputies have arrested a mother and father for child neglect after their 7-month-old son died recently.

'The couple called 911 a couple of weeks ago because the boy was unresponsive. When doctors examined him, they discovered ligature marks under the boy's chin and at the back of his neck.

They are still waiting on the autopsy results for the exact cause of death. Rogers County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death as a homicide.

Deputies booked Jimmy Legates and Crystal Hogland into jail Monday evening on three counts of child neglect each.

The couple's other two young children are in Department of Human Services custody. Investigators say the kids were living in terrible conditions with bugs and feces everywhere.
