TPS Provides Training For Incoming Bus Drivers

Tulsa Public Schools is hanging the help wanted sign. Along with teachers, TPS is hiring support staff, including school bus drivers.

For those interested, TPS says you don’t have to know how to drive a bus to apply, because they provide the training.

"We try to train them for everything on that and that even when things go bad they know how to deal with it in a professional manner," said Trainer, Leroy Stewart.

You can apply for any of the district's open positions during the TPS job fair. It's Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 at East Central High School.
