Tulsa Police officers are looking for several men after three armed robberies Monday evening.

The first robbery occurred in the 6000 block of South Newport at about 9:30 p.m. A woman told officers she was approached by a group of men, one of whom had a handgun. After she handed over her possessions, the robbers ran away.

At about the same time, Tulsa Police said two men with handguns entered a Dollar General store in the 7800 block of East Admiral Place and made everyone in the store lie on the floor. After they robbed the clerk, the men drove away in a maroon SUV.

At 10:40 p.m. a man entered the lobby at America’s Best Value Inn in the 3500 block of South 79th East Avenue with a towel wrapped around one of his hands. The man claimed he had a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

Police said motel employees recognized the man as a guest and officers found him nearby.

The arrested Brendan Dixon, 23, of Tulsa and booked him into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of attempted robbery by force and fear and public intoxication. Jail records show Dixon is being held in lieu of $50,100 bond with a court appearance set for July 29, 2014.

Police say none of the victims in any of the robberies was injured.
