The Broken Arrow City Council will consider the resignation of their City Manager at a special meeting Monday.
They said City Manager Thom Moton has expressed a desire to look for other employment and spend more time with his family.
Moton became BA City Manager in November of 2012. Under his watch the city completed construction on several major public improvements including a state-of-the-art water treatment plant and renovation the Public Safety Center, a news release said.
At a special meeting on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 6 p.m. the council will consider a General Release and Separation Agreement. According to the release, if the agreement is approved the Council would be able to consider acceptance of the resignation.
