The Bartlesville Police Department on Wednesday busted a drug and stolen weapons ring, a news release says.
The BPD’s Drug Task Force had been performing surveillance on a home based on an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip.
Investigators said they observed numerous vehicles stopping for short periods of times at all hours, so they obtained a search warrant for the home of 36-year-old Edwin Clinton Young II.
Officers found four adults and two juveniles inside the home at the time the search warrant was executed, according to the release. Police said they found $3,000 in marijuana, methamphetamine and evidence of drug packaging and distribution. Officers also reportedly found $15,000 in stolen guns hidden inside the home’s attic. The guns were reported stolen from an Osage County residence.
Young was arrested and is facing complaints of marijuana possession with intent to distribute, methamphetamine possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm while in commission of a Felony, possession of stolen property and child neglect.
