A road hazard in Washington County is causing challenges for drivers on northbound Highway 75 near Ramona. The pavement in the outside lane literally crumbled into chunks.
When Osage SkyNews 6 HD flew over the scene Tuesday morning, we spotted ODOT workers taking a look at the problem. They'd blocked off the lane to traffic so workers could start repairs.
It looked like a patch of highway in the inside lane was recently repaired in the same spot.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation tells News On 6 Monday's extreme heat played a role in causing the concrete to crumble.
That has been the case in that same area in the past.
