Police responded to a domestic dispute at the Tulsa Inn and Suites around 11:15 p.m. in the 8200 block of East Skelly Drive, near 31st and Memorial.
Captain Wendell Franklin, Tulsa Police Department, said they found a commotion when they arrived in the parking lot of the motel.
"We found a male that was laying on the ground and two females that obviously had been involved in an altercation," he said.
"All three were battered and bruised."
Police said the man was intoxicated and not very cooperative. The women told officers the man was in a room with one of them when they got into a fight, and the man slammed the woman's hand in the door. She called her sister.
The man apparently pulled out a BB gun, Franklin said, but the sister thought it was real and started beating the man around the head with a cell phone.
"The male subject has got the worst of it," Franklin said.
At some point, according to the man, a third woman arrived and stabbed him. Police weren't sure that's what really happened.
"He's got a pretty good gash that may be a laceration from something, but we don't know what it's from," Franklin said.
The man initially refused to be taken to the hospital but called EMSA back to the scene about 90 minutes later and was taken for treatment.
Franklin wasn't sure any charges would be filed in the incident. Police didn't find a weapon.
