Scooter Rider Injured In Tulsa Crash

Tulsa Police say a man was seriously injured after crashing his scooter near 61st and Lewis early Monday.

It happened at about 1 a.m.

Officers said the rider lost control and hit a curb, knocking him to the ground.

EMSA took the man to the hospital. Police said he was not wearing a helmet.

Officers said they have not yet determined how fast the rider was going and what caused him to hit the curb.
