Tulsa City-County Library Holds Digital Festival In Bookmobile

A high-tech bookmobile pulled into Tulsa on Friday. The Tulsa City-County Library held a digital festival Friday at the Librarium.

A high-tech bookmobile pulled into Tulsa on Friday. The Tulsa City-County Library held a digital festival Friday at the Librarium.

The Digital bookmobile shows you how to download e-books, audiobooks and how to stream music and movies.

Visitors stepped aboard a tractor-trailer where laptops, tablets and smartphones of all types were setup and instructors were on hand to demonstrate how to use digital library services.

"If you have a smartphone, we're all walking around with a very powerful computer in our pocket or in our purse, and it just has the capability of doing amazing things," said Laurie Sundborg with the Tulsa City-County Library.

Librarians also said it's not too late to for kids and teens to sign-up for their summer reading programs.
